Porzingas had one criticism of Deni after win against the Celtics
Wizards Newswire
With both Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzma out the Wizards pulled off an unexpected win Tuesday night against the Boston Celtics winning 130-111.
Kristaps Porzingas led the way with 32 points, shooting 66% from the field, adding 13 rebounds, 6 assists and committing 0 turnovers. KP has been awesome this season so let's hope the Wizards can close a deal with him real soon.
The bigger surprise was Deni Avdija who tied his career high of 25 points with 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Deni has been steadily improving this year with increased minutes after the Wizards traded Rui Hachimura to the Lakers this year prior to the trade deadline.
When Porzingas was asked about Deni's performance after the game, KP had high praise for his younger protege but there was one point of criticism he had to raise:
"Shout out to Deni! Deni was incredible (but) after the celebrations he needs to get back (on defense). That's my only criticism but other than that he has been playing great."
